Yard Deodorizing and Sanitizing for Dog Poop and Pee Smell
Yard still smells after it has been scooped? Our pet-safe deodorizing and sanitizing treatment neutralizes odor and knocks down bacteria where waste has been sitting, so the yard is fresh and family-friendly again.
Why a Scooped Yard Can Still Smell
Picking up the waste removes what you can see. What it leaves behind is the residue where piles sat, and the urine that soaked into the soil and thatch on its own. That is why a clean-looking yard can still hit you with a sharp smell on a warm, humid evening.
If you want to try fixing it yourself first, our guides to getting rid of dog poop smell in the yard and dog pee smell in the yard walk through what works. One bad corner and a hose is usually a homeowner job. A saturated yard, a kennel run or a property with a complaint on record is where the treatment earns its place.

Yard Deodorizing Questions, Answered
Is yard deodorizing safe for my dog and kids?
Yes. We use a pet-safe and family-safe deodorizing and sanitizing treatment, so the yard is ready for the people and animals who use it.
Why does my yard still smell after the poop is picked up?
Because the source is often still in the ground. Waste that sat for a while leaves residue in the soil and thatch, and dog urine soaks in on its own. Scooping removes what you can see; the treatment deals with what is left where it was sitting.
Do I need scooping too?
The treatment is an add-on to scooping, so the waste comes up first and the treatment goes down where it sat. It works with any of our scooping plans and with a one-time cleanup.
Does it help with dog pee smell?
Yes. The ammonia smell from a yard, kennel run or patio where dogs have been going for a long time is exactly what the treatment is for. It neutralizes the odor rather than covering it. It does not repair brown spots in the grass.
Do you treat patios and dog runs?
Yes. On hard surfaces we often pair it with porch and deck power washing, which lifts the residue out of wood and concrete before the treatment goes down. We also treat dog runs and common areas for commercial properties.
Can I add it to my weekly visit?
Yes. Recurring customers can add deodorizing and sanitizing to their service. Ask when you book or call us and we will add it to an upcoming visit.
